Wax processing

If you need equipment designed for the recovery of beeswax, the wax melters offered in our shop will be the right choice. We offer both steam melters and solar melters. The wax melters have special tubs and other enhancements that any professional beekeeper will appreciate.

Wax melting machine - who will need it

Modern apiary farms try to systematically rebuild bee nests by introducing frames with wax foundation. This successively rebuilds the nest, eliminating the oldest combs. Beekeepers who are extending their apiary intensively replace up to 50% of the combs per year. The beeswax that is obtained in the apiary can be reused, as it is an excellent raw material for further development. For this, however, you will need a professional wax melter. What can be done with the melted wax? It is most often used to make candles!

Beeswax melter - solar, steam and electric

Wax melters are divided into several types, based on their method of powering. A solar wax melter uses the sun's rays to heat the wax up to 150 degrees C. The time it takes to melt the wax depends on the degree of sunshine, but usually takes several hours. The solar wax melter produces a crystalline and bleached product. A steam wax melter is a device in which the wax is melted using hot steam and pressure in a closed vessel. The resulting product flows out together with the water into a separate container. An electric wax melter is a specialised dry melting press. It works by heating the dry wax with an electric spiral at the bottom of the machine. The dry wax is gradually compressed with a lid, thus obtaining the desired product.
