This device is relatively simple to use. We pour water into the tank to the height of the top ball valve. We drop pieces of wax into the water and start the melter set at 80°C. When the process of separating the wax from the contaminants is complete, we unscrew the lower ball valve. There will be contaminated water flowing through it, and then the liquid wax will show. Then we close the lower valve and place a clean bucket with a sieve under the wax drain valve (upper). In this way we get clean liquid wax, which we can set aside for a few hours to collect or immediately use, for example, for candle making.
The undoubted advantage of the water melter is that it can quickly, safely and easily dissolve larger amounts of beeswax compared to traditional methods.
