In the rich offer of Przedsiębiorstwo Pszczelarskie Tomasz Łysoń, you will also find silicone molds that allow you to prepare candles with beeswax.

Silicone molds are made of flexible and durable silicone with plastic properties that enable their repeated use.
Before filling the mold with liquid wax, it is recommended to spray it with silicone spray. Silicone is also a preservative for the mold and a factor facilitating the removal of ready-made candles.
The variety of offered forms of forms will provide you with the preparation of a candle for every occasion.

Ready-made candles from beeswax can be decorated any time recently with the rather popular decopage technique or natural products, such as coffee beans, etc.
The prepared candle can be sprayed gently with silicone spray which will give it a shine.
During the preparation of candles, you can "ennoble" candles by adding perfumed scented oils for candles. Candles so made will be a unique decoration as well as an original gift for family and friends.

Recipe how to make a candle with beeswax in a few simple steps:

Will be needed:
  • silicone mould,
  • wick of appropriate thickness, matched to the size of the candle (the larger the candle, the thicker the wick)
  • elastic band
  • toothpick
  • silicone spray (optional). The mold can be sprayed inside with silicone spray if it is a more difficult pattern it will be easier to remove.
1. Preparation of the form

If you cast candles with a complicated pattern, you should spray it from the inside with silicone spray, it will be easier to remove the finished candle from the mold. Then cut off the appropriate length of the wick (it must be longer than the form) and drag it through the center of the mold. The next step is to put elastics on the form. At the end, stick the toothpick into the end of the wick and strain it well.

2. Flooding the mold with wax

Dissolve the wax in a pot (preferably enamelled). Before pouring the wax should have a suitable temperature of approx. 60 ° C. It should not be too cold or too hot. Pour the wax in a slow stream so that it reaches all the hollows. The setting time of the wax depends on the size of the silicone mold.

3. Removing the candle from the mold

When the wax cools and is already cold, we pull the elastics, open the mold and gently take out the candle. Next, remove the toothpick and cut the wick at the base, while at the top of the candle, leave about 1 cm.
The last stage of finishing the candle is to "cut" with a knife the bottom of the candle and the end of the wick can be soaked in warm wax.

Recommendations for using the form:

To facilitate the extraction of the candle from the mold, it is recommended to spray the mold with silicone. The wick must be filled into the mold before pouring, it should be lightly taut. Before pouring wax should be tied with a string or fastened with elastic bands to pour molds. Use liquid wax preheated to 50 ° C.
