Swarming in the apiary can be very troublesome for beekeepers. Unfortunately, sometimes a bee colony is uprooted and can settle anywhere. Swarm catching bags are a great help in such cases. The stable construction, based on a metal hoop, allows the bag to be manoeuvred in an appropriate manner in order to catch the swarm
A metal handle built into the hoop allows the appropriate length of stick to be fitted into it (especially useful when the swarm is in a tree).
It has a top flap that closes the bag thanks to a string.
The green stick visible in the photo is not part of the set.
